Why are we doing this study?
We now know that the HPV vaccine can safely protect females against getting HPV disease and will prevent cervical cancer. What we don’t know is if there is a difference in protection between 2 or 3 doses of the HPV vaccine, or what level of the disease is present in the vaccinated girls. This study will serve to answer these and other important questions.
