Vaccine coverage in Canadian children: Results from the National Immunization Coverage Survey released

Results from the 2013 National Immunization Coverage Survey have been released by the Public Health Agency of Canada. This survey is the first with a sample size large enough to estimate provincial and territorial levels of immunization coverage.

A high percentage of two-year-old kids have been vaccinated against a variety of childhood diseases, according to a Statistics Canada survey, but some immunization rates still fall below what’s considered optimal.
